Adding a Sitemap Entry to Call an External URL

Sitemap entries can be created to call an external URL, opening the webpage in a new browser window. This option is used to add a menu entry that links directly to an external webpage, rather than opening a webpage created from an HTML file in the content folder.

To Create an Entry in the Sitemap to Link to an External URL:

  1. Open the Content screen.
  2. Choose the language you want to update then choose the Sitemap sub tab.
  3. Choose New Entry. The sitemap entry form is opened.
  4. Add the entry name and the URL to the webpage.
  5. Choose Save to create the entry in the sitemap.
